The Team

Naomi Nash BSc(Hons), MBAcC, FEA

Owner and acupuncturist

As a TCM practitioner I enjoy working with a diverse range of health conditions. I hold a particular interest in pregnancy and fertility support, having had my own positive experience of acupuncture during this time.

I am also a trained supervisor and mentor for healthcare practitioners and am involved in teaching on the acupuncture degree course at the Northern College of Acupuncture. I am passionate about helping others and working in a more holistic way to improve health.

Our treatment room

The room is warm and welcoming

and encourages you to relax whilst you have treatment with us.

Both Naomi and Sam graduated from the Northern College of Acupuncture with a BSc (Hons) Acupuncture. We are insured and full members of the British Acupuncture Council and also the British Acupuncture Association + British Acupuncture Federation. To this end we must adhere to strict codes of conduct and comply with Environmental Health requirements. Additionally we are first aid trained and are licensed under Calderdale Council.

We are committed to refining and updating our skills with continued professional development and regularly attend courses and supervision.

In the clinic we welcome male and female patients of various ages with a wide spectrum of health matters from anxiety to IBS. We enjoy this diversity and hold a passion for all aspects of what acupuncture can work with.

Naomi has a particular interest in working with fertility support and pregnancy given her own positive experiences as well as being keen to offer a safe, drug free treatment during this very special time. Naomi has spent time with the team at the antenatal acupuncture clinic at Calderdale Royal Hospital and completed additional training with professional midwife acupuncturists.

Sam has a particular interest in Oncology, specifically in helping with treatment side effects, such as treatment induced peripheral neuropathy and hormone induced hot flushes for both male and female patients. She has recently spent time with the team at The Christie in Manchester, who currently use a Research backed Acupunture protocol, for Peripheral Neuropathy.

She also visited the James Cook Hospital, Middlesbrough, and shadowed the Acupuncture team at the Trinity Holistic Centre, who succesfully used the NADA (auricular) protocol for the treatment of hormone therapy side effects such as Hot flushes and bone pain, in both men and women.
